Australia would be a great place to study abroad if you are interested in beautiful scenery and friendly people. Here's some information on studying abroad in Australia:

Some other options for you could be various places in Europe:

And Asia:

To help you pay for your study abroad experience you can apply for scholarships, which are free sources of money you can use to pay for school expense. You can read more about their benefits here:

Reply:I can't think of any foreign country which wouldn't be a great experience. After all, it'll be quite different to where you are from, quite different to the US, even though some things, like the basic language, appear to be the same on the surface.

You need to decide the country based on your own interests, and how they match up to that country, their culture, their language, the university where you'll study, etc. If you have a special interest in Australia, or if it even just seems cool, then I really think you can't lose.
