What are some affordable Study Abroad foreign exchange student programs?

Other than Rotary because I can't figure that one out.

What are some affordable Study Abroad foreign exchange student programs?
Rotary IS the cheapest. It's not that hard to figure out -- you pay your plane fare and insurance .. they take care of the rest.





Other ones are more expensive, most range from $5,000 - $9,000 plus personal expenses depending upon the program, country and length of stay.





You can find a list of those authorized to operate in the U.S. at www.csiet.org. I'd also speak with your high school counselor as programs are only as good as their local representatives.





If you wish to apply for scholarships, you need to seriously get working on it, I believe most application deadlines for next year (08-09) are before Christmas.
