Where is the best place to study abroad or do a home stay in the UK? (Only UK people answer please)?

I live in Minnesota, USA. I'm interested in either being a foreign exchange student or doing a home stay. Where would suggest me to go in the UK, preferably in Great Britain or Ireland.

London if you are used to busy life style. Cambridge, Oxford,Edinburgh all beautiful for study , history and a great time.

Reply:Edinburgh, SCOTLAND
Reply:You should study where you plan to work in the future, there's better job propects and you'll make a lot of connections.
Reply:The UK is a seat of learning come along take a seat, any university would be of the highest standard.part of the U K we are extremely proud of.
Reply:If you're not planning to learn another language it would be quite usless going to a European country where the language isn't English.

England is the only European country with universities in the top 100 universities. The rest are American. I don't know why this is, but you should think very carefully about where you study because it will affect almost everything you do afterwards.

If you are fixed on the idea of coming to the UK there are many places to choose (even outside London). You need to check which institution is the top place for your particular field of study, then apply. Make sure that you find out about living costs of the area.

Britains UCAS website might help you:
