Do most students study abroad alone?

Do most people study abroad with a group of students or a friends or do people usually go by themselves? I plan to study in Sydney and I am just curious how others do it.

It is quite common to study abroad alone. You will find that most universities will conduct orientation activities for study abroad students which is a great way to meet other students and make some friends. Generally the fact that most study abroad students don't know anyone makes it really easy to make friends.
Reply:No. In my country, those Middle Eastern students get married first and go there as a couple. And usually students will be sent in groups (cut costs), which then they formed their own community circle. But it doesn't metter with whom you go, as long as yu get along with everyone!
