I am going to study abroad for 4 months in France in the fall what is the best cell phone plan I can get?

I am looking to get a cell phone while in Aix en Provence. What is a good cell phone plan that I can get (cheap with good features)

cingular will probably have the best that you can get from here, just make sure you tell them where you're going and for how long. but you can get prepaid international cell phones or rent international cell phones. just beware the price tag. I'd just recommend an international calling card or skype. email always works! ;)

Reply:I would actually suggest to just get a pre-paid plan once you arrived in France. I have been in Germany for 3 years and pre-paid plan works perfect for me since I don't make a lot of calls.





But if you are planning to talk a lot on the phone with the people in the states then I would suggest Skype or some kind of Internet phone. Cheaper.





You are only going to be there for 4 months anyways. Don't need a year long plan.
