well i really want to go to france for either a semester or a whole year. the agency i am looking at is Intrax Study Abroad but i want to find outside sources that tell me about their own stories and opinions..
if you have traveled with another company do you recommend that company??

Has anyone traveled as an exchange student to another country using Intrax study abroad??
In picking a program, one thing you want to make sure if is that they are CSIET listed (www.csiet.org). I do not believe Intrax is on that list. CSIET certifies that programs operating in the U.S. meet certain standards and provides a bit of oversight. While it's not a guarantee, at least it helps.
You should check with your school counselor for a program. Chances are he or she works with one or two already. A program is only as good as its local representatives. AFS, Aspect, Rotary and YFU are generally reliable everywhere.
You will also need to work with your counselor on getting credit for your exchange.

One last thing, if you want to go next year, you must HURRY. Most organizations are already placing students for next year and deadlines are nearing or already passsed.
