Why do people do this. Hasn't our motherland given anything to us dont we feel proud to be indians
I have noticed many people like to stay or study abroad which means leaving our wonderful motherland ?
Is it so wonderful? Is there nothing better?
What is wrong with asking these questions and experiencing life outside of what you have always known?
To be an exchange student is to grow and mature. It's to learn acceptance of others. It is to experience how others live and to take the good from what you have learned and apply it to wherever you end up. One does not give up being proud of their country when they study abroad, quite the contrary. Often when studying abroad, people learn to appreciate their country all the more.
Whether we like it or not, the world is getting smaller (metaphorically speaking) and the better we can learn to live in various parts of it, the better.
Reply:everything comes at some cost ,
so u have to loss something to gain something
Reply:It is something which has a very great impact on so many of our motherlands yet the same students end up regretting the treatment out there. Even if lucky other do not come back but stick thus loosing our own energetic manpower.
Reply:Why would you not go 'outside the box' ?
I mean, if you stay at home all your life - how would you deal with people from other countries?
If you live in another country for studies, you:
1) Learn a new language easier.
2) Get used to the culture and habits of potential customers
3) Widen your knowledge of "the world"
4) See things you would otherwise probably not see.
I think that, international exchanging if students will increase mutual understanding, and thus making peace on earth a possibility.
People fear that which they do not understand - living in another country for a while therefore lessens fear, of at least those people ;)
Reply:idk
!
Reply:oh you are from india sometimes a country has better studies then another country or people just might feel they need to spread their wings doesn;t mean they are'nt proud of their country have'nt you ever wanted to travell abroud
Reply:Of course we're proud of our "motherlands." I'm from California and I'm pretty proud of it. But, when I'm older, I'd like to live in other countries to explore the different cultures. What can I say, I like change!
